Washington, DC - theatreWashington unveils a groundbreaking network of ticketing discounts to mark theatreWeek 2015, a celebration of live theatre that spans the capital region and is personified by exclusive ticket discounts offered by more than 50 professional theatres.
For one week only - September 21-27 - theatreWashington's constituent theatres will offer patrons one-time-only incentives on productions throughout the 2015-16 season. Whether looking for musicals, drama, comedy, classics, or theatre for young audiences, theatre-goers will find remarkable savings to popular programming.
Brad Watkins, Vice President for Theatre Communications, commented, "Our goal at theatreWashington, above all else, is to help our theatres fill seats and to help our patrons find the experience that is going to entertain, challenge, and delight. The discounts offered during theatreWeek do exactly that. My personal hope is that we'll also encourage folks to step outside their comfort zone and experiment with some new theatrical flavors."
A preview of discounts can be found at theatreWashington.org, with discounts going live at midnight on September 21. Audiences are encouraged to plan ahead for a shopping spree that will stretch hard-earned dollars across the theatre season.
