Kicking off with the 28th Helen Hayes Awards on April 23rd, theatreWeek will celebrate Washington's world-class professional theatre while introducing new audiences to it's diverse offerings. On Saturday, April 28, theatreWeek features a variety of FREE Play Time activities and presentations for all ages, aiming to raise awareness for Washington's dynamic, diverse, and world-class professional theatre. (Additional Play Time events are on April 22, 27 & 29, and May 1 & 4).
theatreWashington - the only organization that supports, promotes, and represents Washington area theatres, artists, and audiences of all ages - will showcase its first annual theatreWeek, presented by The Washington Post.
