VA's ShenanArts To Hold Auditions For COTTON PATCH GOSPEL 7/18 & 7/19

ShenanArts is holding auditions for COTTON PATCH GOSPEL, a toe-tapping full-length musical of the greatest story ever retold! Auditions are July 18 for musicians and July 19 for actors. Performance dates are October 23, 24, 25, 30, 31 and November 1.

Men and women ages teens and up, as well as experienced male musicians (bluegrass bands are encouraged to audition), needed.

Actors auditions are Sunday, July 19 from 2-4pm at the Staunton Alliance Church, 560 New Hope Rd. Come prepared with a musical piece of your choice.

Musicians auditions are Saturday, July 18 from 5-8pm at ShenanArts Stage4, Route 11 and Hwy 612 in Verona, VA. Instruments needed are guitar, banjo, fiddle, upright bass, mandolin, and dobro. Come prepared with a musical piece of your choice. It is preferred but not required that musicians also sing. Musicians may also be asked to read selections from the play.
