Art4Art VI is coming on Saturday Oct. 16 at 7pm!

Save the date-Saturday, October 16 for Art4Art VI at a fantastic new spot on H Street. That's when you'll get a chance to bring home a new piece of original art chosen from over 75 exciting pieces donated by DC Metro area visual artists at one of DC's most fun fall arts events. Besides getting to pick a favorite piece of art in a random drawing, patrons also get to party hearty (and arty) with other friends and supporters of Theater Alliance while enjoying dance music and great food from H Street restaurants Argonaut, Dangerously Delicious Pies and the new Star & Shamrock. Mingling with the artists, neighbors and theater folk while enjoying food, drink and art-seriously now, what could be better?

We're excited to be celebrating in a new location this year that Dolly Vehlow and Steve Hessler have generously made available to us. Gallery OonH, the art and music incubator and cool gallery space at 1354 H Street NE-along with the totally hip courtyard space next door - gives us a chance for inside and outside fun! And this year we've added another way to party: the "Arty Party." For just $75, our friends and supporters can come enjoy the art works, enjoy the great food and drink while dancing the night away, just without the bonus of choosing a piece of art. Two great ways to support Theater Alliance and its upcoming productions-while having a great party.

Here's how it works:

1 Send in $150 ($250 for 2) and get a ticket for the sixth annual Theater Alliance Art4Art benefit. New this year! Want to just party arty and skip the art? That ticket's (almost) cheap ($85 each).

2 On Saturday, July 17, 2010 join us at the Gallery OonH, 1354 H Street, NE, (yes, the VERY hip H Street), Washington, DC, at 7:00 pm.

3 Drink, schmooze, eat a fantastic dinner, listen to music, meet artists, actors, designers, directors, neighbors. Be immortalized by our caricature artist. Hang out inside or out with DJ and dancing.

4 Wander the space and see great art created by local artists. Most are one of a kind.

5 Listen up at about 9pm when we'll start drawing names. Each person chooses a piece of that great art when his or her name is called. We promise the last piece of art will be as good as the first.
