Four talented dads from Utah, ThEPianoGuys became YouTube superstars by way of their immensely successful series of strikingly original self-made music videos. Steven Sharp Nelson, Jon Schmidt, Al Van der Beek and Paul Anderson have made over 35 of them since joining forces as ThEPianoGuys, including an innovative multi-handed version of One Direction's "What Makes You Beautiful" and a gorgeous reinvention of the hit song "Let it Go" from Disney's "Frozen." Their stated mission is to "produce music videos that inspire, uplift, and make the world a better place."
Their highly innovative covers and stunning blending of pop and classical music made them an Internet phenomenon, with over 1.34 billion YouTube views and 5.7 million YouTube subscribers. Their self-titled debut album, released on Sony Music Masterworks in 2012, was certified RIAA Gold and was followed by more albums - ThePianoGuys 2, A Family Christmas, Wonders, ThePianoGuys Live!, Uncharted and their new Christmas Together album (released October 27, 2017).
