The Welders Announce Cast & Creative Team for THE CAROLINA LAYAWAY GRILL, Running 3/22-4/4

The Welders announce the full company and creative team for their first production, Allyson Currin's The Carolina Layaway Grail, a post-modern comedy about a world peopled with sorcerers, sidekicks, villains, and incompetent bureaucrats.

The production features a cast of D.C.'s veteran and up-and-coming actors: Nora Achrati, MJ Casey*, Nick Depinto*, Karen Lange, Jaysen Wright, and Jacob Yeh.

"I'm thrilled to be working with these fiercely talented actors," said Currin, who is also serving as The Welders' Artistic Director for the duration of the production. "These are folks who are funny, smart, and true craftspeople-in every sense of the word."

The production's creative team includes accomplished artists from across the D.C. region:

Welders Bob Bartlett and Renee Calarco are serving as the production's line producers. Executive and Creative Director Jojo Ruf will provide production and dramaturgical support.

The Carolina Layaway Grail will run March 22 - April 4, 2014 at The Atlas Performing Arts Center. Previews begin March 19, 2014.
