Keegan PLAY-RAH-KA presents the American premiere of Mike Kenny's The Ice Child. A play for young audiences and their families, The Ice Child opens on August 18, 2018, at the Andrew Keegan Theatre in Washington, DC and is recommended for ages 8 and up.
When fairies steal a baby and replace it with the Ice Child, it creates all sorts of trouble for the community. Because the Ice Child isn't like the other kids -- he's lost in a world that doesn't understand him, and he can't be hugged or touched because he'll melt. How do you love a child you don't know and can't touch? Find out in The Ice Child, a brand new fairytale about love, fairies and growing up different.
The Ice Child is directed by Keegan company member Megan Thrift and features actors John Sygar, Claire Burton, Jordan Clarke Halsey, and MK Sagastume. The Ice Child runs August 18, 2018, through September 2, 2018, at The Keegan Theatre in Washington, DC. Keegan PLAY-RAH-KA is dedicated to fostering theatrical experiences for all, empowering young people and emerging artists to find their authentic voices.
