SeeNoSun Onstage presents The Extermination Machine – a new play by Michael Wright, and a World Premiere at DC Arts Center (2438 18th St, NW) tonight, July 12 through July 29, 2012, Thursdays through Sundays at 7:30PM.
On May 21st, 1961 former Nazi Adolf Eichmann is captured by Israeli Agents in Argentina. Nine days later he is taken to Israel and detained in a secret prison where Captain Avner Less interrogates him in preparation for his trial. Eichmann minimizes his participation in the mass murder of millions as Captain Less tries to expose the role played by this "ordinary" SS Colonel who made the trains run on time to the death camps of the Third Reich.Inspired by transcripts from the Israeli Police archives this drama explores the brutal machinations of the Final Solution's implementation. Michael Wright directs the production, starring James Radack as Captain Avner Less and Kim Curtis as Adolf Eichmann.Metro: Take Red Line to Woodley Park/Adams Morgan.
