Pre-Registraton Opens for Presbury Theatrical Training Program 2012 Summer Camps

Pre-registration for The Presbury Theatrical Training Program 2012 summer camps and workshops is now open.

Come sing, dance, and act your way through two fun and exciting shows in this year's summer camp. This camp is perfect for those students interested in learning more about performing in a musical theatre setting. Become more comfortable interacting with your ensemble members through theatre games, learn proper vocal technique when singing, and learn how to express yourself and your character through dance.

*Please note, we have changed our Elementary Camp to Disney's Silly Sing-Along!*

*In order to guarantee that each student receives the proper materials (book & T-shirt) we must receive your pre-registration no later than one week prior to the summer camp beginning.*

CAMPS:

Elementary School: Disney Silly Sing-Along
Instructor: Sara Meinhofer
Tuition: $150
July 9th - 13th, 1:00 - 4:00 pm
Showcase performance on July 13th at 5:00

Middle & High School: Disney Movie Magic*
Instructor: Lindsey Walters
Tuition: $200
July 23rd - 27th, 12:30 - 4:30 pm
Showcase performance on July 27th at 5:30 pm

*Minimum enrollment of 6 students required for each class*

WORKSHOPS:

Stage Make-up | Tuesday July, 24th 5:00 - 8:00 | $50

Get hands-on experience working with the most common forms of transformation for the stage. Get a chance to learn how to make yourself look perfect, age yourself beyond your years, and make a horribly bloody mess of yourself all in the same night!!! Bring you own make-up and learn the best ways to use and apply, as well as new tricks of the trade. Ages 11 and older.

Stage Combat | Thursday July 26th 5:00 - 8:00 | $50

Learn the basics of safely beating on your fellow performers! Class will cover multiple slaps, punches, kicks, throws and surface strikes as well as performing a bit of choreography to pull it all together. Then, spend some time with an introduction to bladed combat as we take sword in hand and practice the "True Art of Defense." Ages 11 and older.

*Minimum of 4 students in each class, maximum of 12 students in each class.

2) Click on "The Presbury Theatrical Training Progra menu link.
3) Find the appropriate camp and/or workshop you are interested.
4) Click the "Buy tickets now!" button located below the appropriate camp or workshop.
5) Check the camp or workshop description at the top of the pop up window to ensure you have selected the correct camp or workshop. Enter your information and pay the tution.
6) You will receive an email requesting basic information about the student(s) enrolled. Please enter the appropriate information and reply to the email.
7) Download the full registration packet on The Presbury Theatrical Training Program page.

You may also stop by the box office, during operation hours, to pay by check or cash.

Multiple Child Discount: To receive your multiple child discount, first select the "tuition" ticket type on the purchase tickets screen. Then select the "multiple child" ticket type for any additional students you are enrolling. Scholarships are available. Call or email for more information.
