Arena Stage's newest space, the Kogod Cradle, is currently presenting its inaugural presentation, the world premiere of Marcus Gardley's exploration of hate crimes in the American South, "every tongue confess," an exploration of hate crimes in the American South.
The production features Phylicia Rashad, Jason Dirden and Leslie Kritzer and is directed by Kenny Leon. The creative team includes Ilona Somogyi (costumes), Allen Lee Hughes (lighting), Timothy M. Thompson (sound), and Joe Isenberg (fight director) and Chuck LaPointe (wigs). Dwight Andrews is the composer.
Last week, BroadwayWorld caught up with Kritzer and brings you photos below. Kritzer has appeared on Broadway in Hairspray, Legally Blonde The Musical and Sondheim on Sondheim. Off-Broadway she was seen in The Great American Trailer Park Musical, Bat Boy and Godspell. Her regional credits include Vanities (Kathy), Babes in Arms (Baby Rose), and both Grease (Rizzo) and Funny Girl (Fanny) at Paper Mill Playhouse.
