Molotov Theatre Group Restructures Executive Leadership

Effective January 01, 2013, Michael P. Wright, founding Artistic Director of SeeNoSun OnStage, will join Molotov Theatre Group as Co-Artistic Director.

“I have always admired the artistic and critical achievements of Molotov,” said Wright. “Their creative vision aligns with mine and integrating SeeNoSun OnStage with Molotov Theatre Group enables us to produce compelling theatre that continues the exploration of humanity’s dark side which has always been the core mission of both companies.”

Sharing Co-Artistic Director responsibilities is Alex Zavistovich, founding member and the current Managing Director of Molotov Theatre Group.

“Michael brings a serious background in business development and planning that Molotov has sorely needed for years,” said Zavistovich. “I’m looking forward to working with him, and to grow Molotov’s reputation from being the ‘Gallagher’ of DC theatre to a real company to be reckoned with. Of course, we’ll still have lots of blood – we just won’t be bleeding money any more.”
