Margo Seibert Returns To Signature Theatre For One Night Only Image

Broadway favorite and DC area native Margo Seibert returns to Signature Theatre on January 20 to launch her new album 77th Street.

From her acclaimed turn as Adrian in Broadway's Rocky and the a cappella In Transit to Signature's The Boy Detective Fails, Margo Seibert's golden voice and exuberant style captivated audiences nationwide. With special guest and Signature favorite Tracy Lynn Olivera, Margo explores life's in-betweens through an electric mix of original songs, reimagined Broadway classics, and music from the 70s and 80s. It's a little Joni Mitchell meets Nirvana with a side of Liza Minnelli in the one night only concert.

At Signature, Margo Seibert appeared in the world premiere productions of The Boy Detective Fails, The Hollow and Saving Aimee and the first workshop of Tamar of the River. Seibert is an American University alum and appeared in DC at Folger Theatre, Ford's Theatre, Olney Theatre Center, Shakespeare Theatre Company, and Studio Theatre.

All tickets are $38, on sale online at SigTheatre.org, by phone at 703 820 9771, or in person at the Signature Box Office.

Margo's work includes originating the leading roles of "Adrian" in the Broadway production of Rocky (Drama League Award Nomination), and of "Jane" in the new Broadway musical, In Transit. Off-Broadway: Tamar of The River (2014 Drama Desk Award nomination for Outstanding Actress in a Musical), The Thanksgiving Play at Playwright's Horizons (dir. by Moritz von Stuelpnagel), The Undeniable Sound of Right Now at Rattlestick. Regional (select credits): Doll's House Part 2, Ever After, The Last Five Years, The Boy Detective Fails, Candide. TV: Instinct, The Good Cop, Elementary, Boardwalk Empire.
