LiveArtDC, in partnership with Grain of Sand Theatre, is proud to announce its fall production of Love's LaBEERs Lost as re-conceived and directed by Grain of Sand Managing Director Sara Bickler. Performances will take place September 29-October 22 at Petworth neighborhood favorite, DC Reynolds.
Fresh off sold-out performances of The Greatest Science Fiction Show (No One's Ever Seen) at the Capital Fringe Festival, Director Bickler returns to LiveArtDC after the smashing success of R+J: Star-Cross'd Death Match in 2014. "Critics have called LiveArtDC and DC Reynolds 'the proverbial dream team,' and our team just got even dreamier. With Sara Bickler and Grain of Sand on board, we are officially unstoppable. We make a kickass team that produces one hell of a boozy good time. But we're proudest of the fact that our theatre company is producing successful work that's centered in the neighborhood we love and puts the creative input of our actors front and center. That's what it's all about for us, and Love's LaBEERS is no exception. Grab a drink, and I'll see you there!" says LiveArtDC Producing Artistic Director Heather Whitpan.
The cast of all LiveArtDC newcomers includes DC theatre standouts Danny Cackley as Ferdinand, King of Navarre, Melissa Hmelnickey as Rosaline and Megan Reichelt as Katharine. The show is accompanied by house band A Rustic Riot featuring LiveArtDC family member Nick Depinto and Christopher Herring.
Tickets are $20 in advance or at the door. Tickets, updates and more detailed information can be found at the LiveArtDC website.
