The Capital City Showcase returns on Thursday, February 2nd, at 8:00pm at Songbyrd Music House and Record Café in Adams-Morgan, located at 2477 18th St NW in Washington, DC.

The Capital City Showcase is the variety show that features the DMV's best comedians, musicians, and performing artists. February's Showcase will feature:

COMEDY HEADLINER: Jason Weems

Jason Weems has been a fixture of the DC and Baltimore comedy scene for years. Not only is he a regular at local venues such as The DC Improv and Magooby's Joke House, he is a veteran of Montreal's Just For Laughs Festival and was a semi-finalist on NBC's Last Comic Standing.

MUSICAL HEADLINER: Uptown Boys Choir

Uptown Boys Choir has brought their blend of punk, pop, and Americana to venues all over the DC area, including The Wonderland Ballroom, The Velvet Lounge, and IOTA Club and Café. They will be promoting their latest EP, "Tied Tight".

This fantastic Showcase will also feature comedy from Katherine Jessup and Shahryar Rizvi, and music from Kat Rheault.
