The Kennedy Center presents actress, singer, and comedian Jane Lynch in her new musical-comedy variety show, See Jane Sing. The award-winning star of Glee makes a stop at the Eisenhower Theater on Friday, June 24, 2016 at 7:00 p.m., as part of her national tour. Tickets start at $70 and go on sale to the general public on Friday, October 9, 2015.

Jane Lynch was born in Chicago, Illinois, where she performed for 15 years at Steppenwolf Theatre as part of The Second City. After 15 years in the comedy troupe, she continued honing her acting and improvisational skills at Annoyance Theater. Lynch began making appearances on a variety of commercials, televisions shows, and films in the early '90s. Her acting career took off with TV roles in the STARZ series Party Down; Lovespring International, a Lifetime original series; Desperate Housewives; and Weeds, as well as in the last season of The L Word, opposite Cybill Shepherd. She also maintained recurring roles in Two and a Half Men, Criminal Minds, and The New Adventures of Old Christine. Lynch is perhaps best known for her portrayal of Sue Sylvester on the FOX hit comedy musical television series Glee, which earned her an Emmy and a Golden Globe award. She is also the recipient of two Emmys for her work as host on NBC's Hollywood Game Night.

In addition to her success in the small screen, Jane Lynch has also starred in feature films including A.C.O.D, Three Stooges, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Wreck-It Ralph, Julie & Julia, Shrek Forever After, The Post Grad Survival Guide, and Paul and Brownie Masters. In 2013, her theatrical acumen led to a Broadway stint as Miss Hannigan in a limited run of Annie at the Leonard H. Goldenson Theater in New York City. Furthermore, she developed her own musical comedy tour, See Jane Sing, in which she mixes quick wit with beloved Broadway songs.

Lynch can be seen next in the CBS comedy series Angel from Hell, premiering in November 2015.
