Just Imagine...The Annual Children's Ball: The Clock Strikes Fun, chaired by M. Celeste Bruce and Anne Mead, is Imagination Stage's Gala exclusively for children! This fun-filled afternoon will include a performance of Cinderella: the Remix, rooms full of unique activities, family-oriented raffle baskets and auction items, and a celebratory buffet reception.
Just Imagine...The Annual Children's Ball: The Clock Strikes Fun takes place at Imagination Stage on Saturday, May 10, at 4:00 p.m. Tickets are $80 for individuals, and family packages start at $275. They may be purchased online at
www.imaginationstage.org/support-us/gala, at the Imagination Stage box office, or via phone at 301-280-1626. Sponsorships are also available starting at $1,000.
Providing the theme for the event is Imagination Stage's world premiere production of Cinderella: the Remix - a hip-hop version of the beloved fairytale set in the land of Hip-Hop-Hollywood, where girls are not allowed to DJ, only thing Cinderella wants to do. She disguises herself as a boy, and gets the gig to spin at J Prince's super-cool Jam. Will she be found out when the clock strikes twelve?
After the performance, children and families are invited to participate in activities such as hip-hop dance lessons, chalk graffiti, and DJ-ing a happening dance party (with the magic of green screen). There will also be dancing, craft opportunities, and other exciting surprises.
Additionally, the Children's Ball will include raffle baskets and silent auction items geared towards families and children, including behind-the-scenes opportunities at Imagination Stage, tickets for family-friendly activities and events, and other unique family experiences.
