Grace Church in Georgetown Celebrates 11th Annual DC SWAN (Support Women Artists Day) ImageOn Saturday, March 24, 2018 from 2:00-5:00pm, Guillotine Theatre and Women in Film & Video will host the 11th Annual DC SWAN Day, a free event featuring Theatre and Storytelling Performances, and Film Screenings at Grace Church in Georgetown (1041 Wisconsin Ave., NW).

The 11th Annual DC SWAN Day will include:

  • Three live performances: Storyteller Ellouise Schoettler's A Gold Star Mother's Journey, Kris "Shortstaxx" Ruff's Beauty Queen 101, and a reading of Lisa Alapick's short play Stabby, My Pet Unicorn.
  • The Laptop Shorts Film Festival: Meet local filmmakers and see their films, up close. Think of it as speed dating for independent film!
  • #MeToo Discussion: How can the DC film and theater community come together to address issues of harassment on stage and set?
