Ganymede Arts is pleased to announce that this fall it will present the complete Falsettos masterpiece consisting of both March of the Falsettos and Falsettoland. The two acts of the Tony Award winning Falsettos, written by William Finn and James Lapine, were written nearly a decade apart and will be directed by Ganymede Art's artistic director Jeffrey Johnson. Christopher Wingert will musically direct the show.

Falsettos is a universal story of the modern day family. It focuses on a man named Marvin who leaves his wife and young son to live with another man yet ends up alone. Two years later, Marvin is reunited with his lover on the eve of his son's Bar Mitzvah, just as AIDS is beginning its insidious spread.

"We are so excited to be bringing to Washington both works of Falsettos," said Jeffrey Johnson, Ganymede Arts artistic director. "D.C audiences are in for a rare theatrical treat-not only do they get to see both pieces performed together, but they get an evening of a masterpiece of storytelling, comedy and musical theater all in concert in one show."

Staring in the show are Lisa Carrier Baker, Noah Chiet, Tony Gudell, Jeffrey Johnson, Barbara Papendorp, Tammy Roberts and Michael Sazanov.

In addition, Ganymede Arts is pleased to announce the creation of "Noi's Nook," a theatre space Ganymede Arts is assembling in go mama go! This is a special location for Ganymede Arts as Noi Chudnoff, the original owner and proprietor of go mama go! served as President of the Board of Directors for Ganymede Arts for two years before her sudden death in 2007. Ganymede Arts artistic director, Jeffrey Johnson and Noi's husband Jonathan Chudnoff both decided that housing the company in the store until it closes was a meaningful way to pay tribute to Noi Chudnoff, who served both the GLBT community and Ganymede Arts with her passion and generosity.

The show runs from Friday, September 10th to Sunday, October 10th at Noi's Nook located at 1809 14th Street N.W., Washington, D.C. Show times are Thursdays, Friday and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 7 p.m.

Tickets for each show cost $30 per person and can be purchased at www.ganymedearts.org
