Holiday Hot Nostalgia, the latest show from Toby's Dinner Theatre of Baltimore is a non-stop cavalcade of song and dance that celebrates popular and holiday tunes from the 1930's through the 1970's. And as an extra special holiday gift to BroadwayWorld.com readers, Toby's family invites your family to join her and the talented cast at an exclusive discount! Each ticket (dinner + show) is $10.00 off, for an unlimited number of tickets! This offer is good for any performance through January 6th, except Saturdays and the Sunday matinee. The show typically runs Thursday – Sunday, with select Tuesday and Wednesday performances.
The Show:
This original musical review by Helen Hayes Award-winner Toby Orenstein, Doug Lawler and Ross Scott Rawlings is a valentine to all kinds of music – rhythm and blues, swing, pop and rock and roll – and features tunes made popular by Elvis, The Supremes, The Beatles, Bing Crosby, Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald and The Andrews Sisters. In less than 90 minutes, visit a 30's jazz club, a swing time canteen from the 40's, a 50's soda shop, a hippie commune from the 60's, and, of course a 70's disco! The cast includes an all-star roster of your favorite Toby's performers: Larry Munsey (The Full Monty), Tina DeSimone (Grease!), David James and Heather Beck (both of Little Shop of Horrors), Russell Sunday (Beauty and the Beast), Tess Harper, Shawn Kettering (Buddy), Ashley Parker (Ragtime), Daniel McDonald and Janine Gulisano-Sunday (both of Titanic: The Musical).
