Dark Horse Theatre to Stage World Premiere of SUNDAY'S CHILD, 5/23-6/7

From May 23-June 7, 2014, Dark Horse Theatre Company will present the world premiere of Sunday's Child, a new play by Jennifer S. Jones.

Sunday's Child is every parent's worst nightmare. Two years ago the Blakemore's four year old son Toby disappeared from their backyard. Now it is Christmas and they have gathered again to try to make sense of what happened. A play about the power of family and the lengths we will go to protect those we love, Sunday's Child asks the question: In a similar situation, what would you do?

The cast features Ivan Zizek, Anne Kight Lloyd, Arianne' Warner, and Cameron Clarke. The show is directed by Natasha Parnian

Saturday performances include post-show talkbacks with the playwright. Sunday's Child is recommended for audience members aged 14 and up.

Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8PM with Sunday matinees at 2pm at The Theatre on the Green at Vint Hill, 4225 Aiken Drive, Warrenton, VA 20187.

Tickets are available at www.darkhorsetheatrecompany.com and at the box office at (703)-537-1071. Tickets are $20 for general admission and $15 for military/senior citizens/students (must have ID)

Straight from D.C., The Dark Horse Theatre Company is a collective of performers, directors, designers, writers, visual artists, and other specialists that have come together out of a mutual desire and compulsion to develop theatrical work through the collaboration and exploration of varied mediums. The company's mission is to produce collaborative works of theatre in an affordable and accessible way in order to both entertain and educate on both sides of the stage. They will achieve this through quality and provocative productions of classical, contemporary, and new works.
