D.C. State Players Bring AGAMEMNON to Capital Fringe, Now thru 7/27

The D.C. State Players will present Agamemnon as part of the 8th Annual Capital Fringe Festival, running tonight, July 11 - 28, 2013. Featuring Sir Dudley Playmore, the show will play at the GALA Theatre at Tivoli Square, 3333 14th Street NW, Washington, DC (One Block North of the Columbia Heights Metro Station on the Green Line).

The D.C. State Players Present Agamemnon is about a community theatre that puts on a show for the first time at the Capital Fringe Festival. The show is inevitably doomed from the start due to conflicts that arise from egos, ignorance, and an overall poor understanding of what "good" theatre is. It explores the idea of how a bad production can be truly funny in the right light.
