Songwriters Sam Carner and Derek Gregor will present a one-night free concert in association with ASCAP at the John F. Kennedy Center's Millennium Stage in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday, November 13th at 6pm. The show will also be available to live stream.
Carner & Gregor's concert features an all-star cast including Rodney Ingram (Phantom of the Opera - Broadway), Danielle Wade (winner Over the Rainbow, Dorothy in Wizard of Oz - North American tour), Eric Michael Krop (Godspell - Broadway), Emily Schultheis (Elphaba in Wicked - Nat'l tour, Raven in Bat Out of Hell - Nat'l tour), Gabriella Whiting (Motown - Nat'l tour), John Battagliese (Romeo in Baz: Starcrossed Love - Las Vegas), and Will Branner (October Sky - Old Globe).
The November 13th Millennium Stage concert will include varied work from over four different Carner & Gregor shows. Recognized for their exciting blend of the hilarious, the humane, and the poignant, as well as their unique fusion of classic musical theater and contemporary pop-rock, Carner & Gregor songs have become cabaret mainstays, performed in hundreds of venues internationally. Their musicals, including ISLAND SONG and UNLOCK'D, have also been performed at dozens of theaters around the world.
