Blue Man Group, the critically acclaimed show that USA Today calls "an ecstatic experience," is best known for its widely popular, yet totally unique performances. Audience members escape the ordinary as they're surrounded by an explosive convergence of comedy and multi-media technology, as well as the haunting, driving rhythms of a live band. The family party atmosphere created at these events has become the trademark of Blue Man Group.

For the first time, Washington will experience the classic Blue Man Group performance in an intimate theater setting. In addition to favorite Blue Man moments, the production features brand new material that is garnering raves from critics and fans alike.

The Philadelphia City Paper has this to say about the tour: "‘Awesome' has become totally overused since its appropriation by the hipster legion. Yet there's no better word to describe the Blue Man Group."

A recent audience member review on the Blue Man website concurs: "Absolutely amazing! Never once thought I could have so much fun in one night!!!! Wanted to go back for another show the next night! Simply INCREDIBLE!!!!"

Blue Man Group on tour also features a new physical design centered around a massive LED curtain and high-resolution screen, creating an entirely new visual experience.

"Until now, we have never mounted a touring version of our theatrical production," says Blue Man Group co-founder Philip Stanton. "The main reason for this is we needed to find a way to transform theaters of all shapes and sizes into spaces in which the Blue Man can intimately connect with the audience, where the audience can become engaged with the spirit of the show and of the Blue Man himself. Our goal with this production, as with all of our productions, is to help audience members reconnect with their own sense of discovery, with their own sense of what is possible in their lives."

Blue Man Group at the Warner Theatre is produced by Blue Man Group Productions and NETWORKS Presentations.
