Auditions Announced for Cheverly Young Actors' HONK

Auditions for Cheverly Young Actors' Guild's production of Honk! The Musical Comedy of the Ugly Duckling (for kids ages 8-18) will be on Saturday, January 22 between 11 am and 5 pm, and callbacks will be on Sunday January 23 between 4:30 and 8:30 pm. You must pre-register for an audition by following instructions at www.CheverlyYoungActors.org. It has been decided that rehearsals for the main show will be on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and on Saturday afternoons. On Saturday mornings, there will be a pre-show class in both dancing and singing for children ages 5 to 7, with no audition required. Registration will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Information about the preshow registration is also on the CYAG website. Tuition is charged for both programs, but some scholarships are available to Cheverly residents. The play will be performed at the Publick Playhouse on May 12-15, 2011.
