New York theater troupe Tectonic Theater Project will join our inaugural season with the national tour of The Laramie Project Residency. Written and directed by Tony and Emmy Award nominee Moisés Kaufman (Broadway and Arena's 33 Variations), The Laramie Project Residency features both The Laramie Project and The Laramie Project: 10 Years Later, which debuted last fall with 150 simultaneous readings around the world, including one hosted by Arena Stage. Mark you calendar: tickets to this special added show go on sale September 22.

The Laramie Project examines the 1998 murder of college student Matthew Shepard, the victim of a hate crime in Laramie, Wyoming, and The Laramie Project: 10 Years Later depicts the town of Laramie 10 years later. The cast includes Scott Barrow (Broadway's 33 Variations) and Jeremy Bobb (Broadway's Is He Dead?) as well as Mercedes Herrero, Greg Pierotti and Kelli Simpkins from the cast of the original The Laramie Project.
