With the biggest cast in the West End this summer, The Other Palace will be filled with the sound of musicals as the groundbreaking International Summer Musical Festival From Page To Stage (FPTS) runs 14 August-3 September - with 60+ cast members, working alongside 18 creatives, plus musicians and over 50 composers and writers presenting new musicals.
Work includes Burt Bacharach and Steven Sater's SOME LOVERS, starring Ben Richards (The Bodyguard, Priscilla Queen Of The Desert - West End, Footballers' Wives, Hollyoaks) and Gemma Wardle (Betty Blue Eyes - West End, Eponine in Les Miserables - West End). A valentine to New York, SOME LOVERS is a contemporary parable about the gifts we give one another - a love story, set over twenty years.
There's also XY, by Oliver Houser, developed with Hunter Bird, and starring Finnish actor Miiko Toiviainen. It brings to life the extraordinary story of Chris, who can't shake off Christine.
