Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds have announced a spring North American tour in support of their much-lauded new album Wild God. This run marks the legendary band’s first North American shows since 2018.

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds have unveiled “Long Dark Night,” the third single from the band’s 18th studio album Wild God, set for release August 30th. This intimate twilight ballad is inspired by the poem “Dark Night of the Soul” by the Spanish 16th-century poet St. John of the Cross. Listen to it now!

BroadwayWorld is saddened to announce that Tony Award-winning director Joseph Hardy has died at age 95. He passed away on June 6, 2024.

The journey to creating Wild God began with sweeping epic “Frogs.” The first lines Cave penned for the album were powerfully evocative, referencing the first murder in the Bible, Cain’s slaying of Abel. He wrote, “Ushering in the week he knelt down and crushed his brother’s head in with a bone/It’s my great privilege to walk you home.” Listen to the song now!
