Inland Pacific Ballet (IPB) will present its original ballet production of Cinderella, returning to the stage with a charming cast of characters including a fairy tale Cinderella, a pair of hilarious Stepsisters, and a radiant Fairy Godmother who sends Cinderella to the ball in a glittering carriage fit for a fairy princess. Houston Ballet’s season is continuing with a return of artistic director Stanton Welch’s CINDERELLA. BroadwayWorld Houston had the chance to speak with Mónica Gómez, one of the ballerinas portraying Cinderella in Houston Ballet's 2024 production. She gave some insight into what makes this reindition of the Cinderella story so timely and special.

Cinderella: A Salsa Fairy Tale is loud, bouncy, and bilingual. The show is part of Imagination Stage's 'Greatest Hits' season, as it was originally commissioned and produced at Imagination in 2003.

Set to the soaring, romantic score by Sergei Prokofiev, Cinderella runs March 14–24 at the Citizens Bank Opera House.
