San Francisco Opera’s 2024 Fall Season will conclude with the return of Georges Bizet’s Carmen from November 13–December 1 at the War Memorial Opera House.

There is nothing more glamorous than going to the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts in Little Rock to witness the world-class artists of Ballet Arkansas bring to life the iconic opera CARMEN that opens with the most exquisite voice you have ever heard. On Saturday, Oct. 12, Broadway World was treated to this experience of passion, elegance, and drama, merging the intensity of Georges Bizet's famous score with the fluid grace of Rodion Shchedrin’s “modernist perspective.” Under the guidance of Choreographer Michael Fothergill, the audience was thoroughly captivated from beginning to end. 

New Camerata Opera announced a November performance of LA TRAGÉDIE DE CARMEN, offering a fresh take on Bizet's classic. The production promises an intimate and powerful experience for opera enthusiasts.

Comedian Carmen Christopher is set to bring his unique brand of humor to premier streaming platform Veeps with his new comedy special, Live From The Windy City, airing on Thursday, August 1, 2024. This special, filmed in Chicago, serves as a hilarious tribute to the comic’s hometown.

Vancouver Opera will close its 2023-2024 season with Georges Bizet’s opera, Carmen. Carmen is one of the most widely performed works in operatic history and Vancouver audiences will have five opportunities to see this production.

San Francisco Ballet has announced casting and creative details for Dos Mujeres, the company’s first-ever double bill of works by Latina choreographers.

Boston Ballet and Artistic Director Mikko Nissinen will present Carmen, a double bill program featuring Florence Clerc’s Kingdom of the Shades and Resident Choreographer Jorma Elo’s Carmen.

Olivier Award-winning director Damiano Michieletto will return to the Royal Opera House this April bringing his unique vision to a new production of Carmen.  

Roxey Ballet Company will present Carmen to open their spring season beginning February 24, returning for the first time since 2020.

The Greek National Opera Ballet presents a new production of the ballet Carmen, choreographed by the great Swedish choreographer Johan Inger and first presented by the Compañía Nacional de Danza, Madrid in 2015.

Some of the rising stars of Irish opera return to Cork for a special Valentine's Night presentation of Bizet's classic, La tragédie de Carmen. The abridged and semi-staged opera will be performed as part of Cork Opera House's Winter Season and will feature Cork mezzo-soprano Niamh O'Sullivan, Clare tenor Dean Power as Don José, Dublin bass-baritone Rory Dunne and Wexford soprano Kelli-Ann Masterson.
