Prospero banished to a secluded island, wields her magic to plot revenge for a familial betrayal. Her position, power and wealth, were all taken by her sibling who then forced her into isolation. Prospero is able to bend nature to her command so when a noble ship appears on the horizon, she reaches across the ocean creating a vast magical storm to wreck the ship to bring the passengers ashore. When they wake they find themselves lost on a fantastical island where nothing is as it seems. All the while, Prospero's daughter encounters other humans for the first time in her memory.
