Journey “under the sea” with Ariel, Sebastian, and their aquatic friends! In a magical underwater kingdom, a gutsy young mermaid longs to leave the ocean behind and journey to the mysterious world above. But contact between merfolk and humans is forbidden, so Ariel must summon all her courage to defy King Triton, make a deal with sea witch Ursula, and convince Prince Eric that she’s the girl who saved his life. Originally based on the Hans Christian Andersen folk tale, this tale of love, longing, and sacrifice became first a beloved animated film, and then a hit Broadway musical, and now it will be performed by the Flynn Youth Theater Company, with a cast of young actors (aged 10-14) from around the state.
