The Waterbury Festival Playhouse, central Vermont's professional theater, in Waterbury Center, Vermont, presents "Rumors" by Neil Simon. You arrive at a dinner party, the host has been shot, the hostess is nowhere to be found, no food is ready, and nobody knows what's going on. This is one of Neil Simon's classic studies of people in unusual situations. It is a hilarious comedy of misunderstandings and miscommunications in a group of friends in an unexpected situation. It sounds like a modern TV sitcom. Well it is. Live and in person and where you are the laugh track.

Marcel Freda, a regular director and actor at The Playhouse, directs an our foliage season classic. Veteran WFP actors Cael Barkman, J. Louise Reid, Louise Mueller, James DeRienzo, Jennifer Tuck, and Walt Levering are joined by newcomers Mark Cranmer, Linda Iannuzi and Dennis McSorley.

This is the last show of the Waterbury Festival Playhouse's seventh season. Spend a beautiful fall evening at the theater. Stand out front and tell all your friends about the shows you've seen in the tent, or make this a new fall tradition for you andf your friends.

Performances are Thu. 10/3 - Sat. 10/5, Wed. 10/9 - Sun. 10/13, Wed. 10/16 - Sat. 10/19.

Never been to our theater before try our first time local discount. If you live in Central Vermont and have never been here before your tickets are half price.

Tickets for all shows are $25.00 in advance (must be purchased by 5:00), $27.00 at the door. Shows begin at 7:30pm. Tickets can be purchased online at www.WaterburyFestivalPlayhouse.com or by phone at 802-498-3755.
