The Saint Michael's Playhouse 2013 summer season presents a foursome of crowd-pleasers, starting with the Broadway classic, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, and continuing with TUESDAYS WITH MORRIE, Neil Simon's comedy RUMORS, and SHOUT! THE MOD MUSICAL.

The Saint Michael's Playhouse first opened its doors to the Greater Burlington community in 1947 and since then has produced 100s of shows for more than one million audience members. The Playhouse is now stronger than ever, producing full scale productions for more than 16,000 theater-goers each season. The Equity Professional Theater is owned and operated by Saint Michael's College and performs in the McCarthy Arts Center, where every seat is a good one, on the college campus in Colchester (three minutes from Burlington).

Strong sales for summer 2013 already
According to producing artistic director Chuck Tobin, the new season subscription sales are already running 32 percent above last year's sales at this time. Gift certificates for season subscriptions are available at last year's prices online at www.saintmichaelsplayhouse.org or from the box office in the lobby of the McCarthy Arts Center, weekdays, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. until December 20.

Tobin said over 500 subscriptions have already been sold during this special holiday campaign.
