It has become the most popular course for young people at Town Hall Theater. Working with a group of experienced adult musicians, young rockers get the experience of putting together a band, playing classic rock covers, exploring the elements of songwriting, and performing on the THT stage, all in an intensive 5-day workshop.

Over 20 student rockers will perform at the Town Hall Theater for a jam concert tonight, June 21 at 7:00 pm. The faculty includes Clint Bierman of The Grift and other local musicians, including Peter Day, Russ Lawton, Lonnie Edwards, and Jer Coons. The adult musicians share the stage with the young rockers on the last night of camp for a blow-out performance.

This summer's Rock-It Science (formerly School of Rock & Roll) performers will include: Josh Burnett-Breen, Simon and Tobias Broucker, Derek Felkl , Owen Hammel, Alex Kite , Bruce Kowalczyk, Zara London-Southern, Daniel Mastri, George McKeever-Parkes, Patrick Messenger, Ethan Nerney, Micah Rubin, Sullivan Swearingan, Harmony Taggart, Avery Thurston, Matias Van Order, Miles Waldron, Addison Wales, BrenDan Wagner, and Oziah Wales.

The June 21 concert is free, but donations are accepted to further the work of the THT Education Program. For more information, contact Town Hall Theater at education@townhalltheater.org
