It's one night when you can truly expect the unexpected, as talented area people take to the Town Hall Theater stage to strut their stuff. It's the sixth annual MIDDLEBURY'S GOT TALENT! coming to THT this weekend, August 24 and 25.
The show includes people of all ages singing, dancing, and more. The show features ALL kinds of dance, including hip hop, and singers belting out blues, pop, opera and Broadway. There might even be bagpipes in the mix.
Once again, Chuck Miller will put together a hot band to back up the singers and keep the joint jumpin."
"It's my favorite event of the entire year," says THT executive director Douglas Anderson. "The theater is always packed and the talent always blows me away. Who knew that our neighbors have so much talent?"
A partial list of performers includes Johnny Jupiter, James Inglis, Holden Amory, Andy Collins, Addison Wales, Julia Meadows,Abbie Krech, Jordan Cromis, Jonny Barden, Dakota Senna and Lucas Royer, and dancers under the direction of Barb Demic.
MIDDLEBURY'S GOT TALENT will be performed twice, tonight, August 24, at 8 pm, and Sunday, August 25 at 2 pm. Tickets are only $10, and may be purchased at www.townhalltheater.com, 802 382-9222, at the THT box office, or at the door.
