Maiden Vermont brings the beauty and warmth of the holiday season to Town Hall Theater as the multigenerational women's singing group performs four-part a cappella music in the barbershop style on December 10 and 11. From swing to Broadway, spirituals to rock and roll, these ladies make the season ring!

Formed in January 2004, the Maiden Vermont Chorus has performed extensively throughout Vermont, including benefits, naturalization ceremonies, first nights and festivals in Burlington, Rutland and at Castleton State College, and regularly at THT. Last year, the chorus was honored to represent the state of Vermont at "Vermont Day at Fenway Park," singing both the Canadian and American National anthems to 38,000 fans at the Red Sox/Blue Jays game.

This year's concert, "Sing for Joy," features special guests, Road Show, the Men's Northeastern District Quartet Champions and Northeast Harmony Sweeps Champions. This highly accomplished foursome is one of the premier a cappella groups in the region. They have collectively won more Barbershop Harmony Society Championships than any other quartet in the Northeast, and individually have appeared with, The Smothers Brothers, Dick Van Dyke, Rock- a-pella, Cady Huffman, The Oak Ridge Boys, Bill Gaither, The Kingston Trio, Aiofe Clancy, The Real Group, Maureen McGovern, The King Singers, Conan O'Brien, The Four Freshmen, Pete Fountain, The Hi-Lo's, Arthur Fiedler and many more!

Maiden Vermont performs at Town Hall Theater on Saturday, December 10th, 7:30 pm and Sunday, December 11th, 2:00 pm. Tickets, $15 general/$12 seniors/$10 students, are available through the THT Box Office by calling 802-382-9222, online at www.townhalltheater.org, or in person Monday – Saturday, noon-5:00 pm.
