The Frontliners is a comedic drama set in early 2016 at an East Vancouver hotel, where three overwhelmed employees strive to help new Syrian families find homes amidst a housing crisis. This production highlights the challenges and humor encountered during a turbulent time, showcasing stories that bring light to the struggles of integration and community support. Written by Zahida Rahemtulla, it is a collaboration between Blackout Theatre, Firehall Arts Centre, and Vancouver Asian Canadian Theatre.
