Created and directed by Agnès Limbos from Belgium, Little Pea (French: Petit Pois) is a play and an exhibition in one; this ground-breaking TYA show tells the story of a little green pea who escapes from a refugee camp. To make the content accessible for young children, the Storyteller, a camp guard and clown, uses Object Theatre to create a playful and whimsical realm in which children and adults are immersed. Crossing roads, mountains, and villages, the Storyteller searches far and wide for a new home for the little pea until they are finally reunited with their peers in the vegetable garden.
