Ballet Kelowna celebrates the many facets of love and relationships with a special Valentine’s Day program, Ex Animo: From the Heart, on February 14 + 15, 2025, at the Kelowna Community Theatre. The winter program welcomes back three of Ballet Kelowna’s most esteemed choreographers, featuring the world premiere of payot yχt (“I always remember” in Ayajuthem) from Associate Artist Cameron sink Fraser-Monroe, in which he explores his relationship to hoop dance – one of his earliest dance influences; the world premiere of Vestiges, a work that searches for connection and meaning amid disorder, from Canadian choreographic luminary Alysa Pires in her third work for the company; and the anticipated return of the passionate and uplifting In the Light of the Waking Sun from Robert Stephen. The 2024/25 season is presented by the Thomas Alan Budd Foundation. Tickets and information at balletkelowna.ca
