Bulleh Shah: The Messenger of Light, a new work by Gaurav Bhatti, showcases an innovative blend of Kathak and contemporary dance. This solo performance draws inspiration from the life and poetry of the 18th-century Sufi mystic Bulleh Shah, who advocated for tolerance amidst religious strife. Through a fusion of classical Indian dance forms and modern movement, Bhatti emphasizes Shah's enduring message of universal love, honoring the rich artistic heritage of Punjab. The performance will take place at The Dance Centre from March 28 to 29, 2025.
