A New Springtime of the World at Christ Church Cathedral

Artists: Diabolus in Musica (France), directed by Nicolas Sansarlat This French medieval music ensemble is engaged in the rediscovery of Medieval works by the Troubadours, Trouvres and the Notre-Dame School. Their concert showcases troubadour songs and polyphonies from Aquitaine in the 12th century, a pivotal period in history which, in the words of Georges Duby, was the worlds new springtime.
