Colin Mochrie, Vancouver TheatreSports™ (VTSL) alumnus, and star of Whose Line Is It Anyway, returns this May to Vancouver TheatreSports™ for three laugh-packed performances - Thursday, May 24 and Saturday, May 26 at The Improv Centre at 7:30pm; and Friday, May 25 at The Vogue Theatre also at 7:30pm. Tickets are on sale now and available online at www.vtsl.com.
COLIN UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL - Thursday, May 24 | 7:30pm | The Improv Centre
The first performance takes place at VTSL's home theatre on Granville Island - The Improv Centre. This is your chance to see Colin up close and catch every expressive comedic nuance in an intimate space. This very special evening includes two improv sets starring Colin, along with members of the VTSL ensemble, followed by a Q&A session where audience members ask the questions. There are also a very limited number of tickets (only 40) for an exclusive, post-performance reception where guests will personally meet, and socialize with Colin at The Improv Centre's Neil Macrae Bar & Lounge. That evening the Bar will be introducing 'The Colin' - a cocktail specially designed in Colin's honour based on his favourite alcoholic beverage - red wine. Ticketing details can be found at www.vtsl.com.
All performances benefit the Colin Mochrie Scholarship Fund at VTSL's theatre school, The Improv Comedy Institute. Established in 2014, the scholarship provides assistance to those wishing to study improv but are unable to do so because of financial barriers.
Also of note - it is rumoured that another VTSL alum and Whose Line Is It Anyway star (whose initials are R.S.) may join Colin on stage in a surprise appearance for one or two of these performances. While we can't guarantee it, it has happened before, most recently this past January at VTSL's Throwdown Festival.Videos
