Little Mountain Lion Productions is proud to announce its upcoming production of FRANKENSTEIN 1945 playing tonight, October 2, through October 31 -- Vancouver's spookiest theatre season at the Shop Theatre at Renegade Studios.

The year is 1945, and WWII has just ended. While Europe has been disfigured by war between the Axis and the Allies, its people attempt to rebuild. By conducting grotesque experiments with dead flesh, Victor Frankenstein attempts to rebuild more than just society -- he attempts to reshape humanity itself.

Frankenstein's thirst for success leads him down a path isolating him from his family and friends. As his life, love, and family start coming together, a sinister shadow looms over him... did he survive WWII, only to put him and those he loves in a war of his own creation? Stylized like film noir, this production blends literature and theatre on the stage putting a new, refreshing spin on the classic story.
