Little Mountain Lion with If You Can't Beat 'Em Productions present the Vancouver premiere of LOVE IS FOR SUPERBEASTS at Studio 16, 1555 W. 7th Ave., Vancouver, tonight, September 10th through 20th, as part of the 2015 Vancouver Fringe Festival.

Check your TV listings or new releases queue on Netflix, and it's impossible to ignore today's media is rife with one subject: killers! From CSI to Criminal Minds and Dexter to Hannibal, modern audiences are obsessed with portrayals of murderers... but just how accurate are they? Little Mountain Lion and If You Can't Beat 'Em invite Vancouver Fringe Festival audiences to meet Dorian and Eleanor, two real-life serial killers, who are as passionate about each other as they are about their gruesome hobby. See what it's like for two psychopaths on their first date, learn which video games they play, and discover what pop culture gets wrong about killers - and why they do it.

Author Mily Mumford has special insight into the minds of serial murderers. Apart from being one of Vancouver's busiest budding local playwrights, she holds a BSc in Biopsychology from UVIC. In LOVE IS FOR SUPERBEASTS, Mumford compliments honest and engaging dialogue with a thorough understanding of what makes killers tick. She'll be starring in the play alongside Vancouver actor Daniel Meron.

LOVE IS FOR SUPERBEASTS was presented at the 2012 Victoria Fringe Festival and was subsequently developed with recent Jessie winners Delinquent Theatre's Playwright in Residence program. The 2015 Vancouver Fringe Festival will be its Vancouver Debut.

LOVE IS FOR SUPERBEASTS is by Mily Mumford, directed by Matt Clarke, starring Daniel Meron and Mily Mumford.
