Hunger Games: The Musical is pop culture parody of Suzanne Collins action-packed novel and feature film. Along with skewering the plot, character and themes from the original story, this musical is packed with upbeat mainstream pop songs with new side splitting lyrics. Hunger Games: The Musical was first produced in 2013, written by Mark Vandenberg for his high school and turned out to be a gigantic success. It's now been "adultified" for the Fringe.

"I'm thrilled to be producing this show and seeing these lyrics come back to life with some of Vancouver's most gifted actors and singers. I'm bruised from pinching myself." - Mark Vandenberg (co-director/writer)

"Let's be real here. Who wouldn't want to play Katniss and have her sing parodies of pop songs?" - Jennifer Pielak (Katniss Everdeen)

Directed by Frank Nickel and Mark Vandenberg. Musical Direction by Rick Colhoun and Oker Chen. Choreography by Andrea Loewen. Costume Design by Audrey Herold. Stage Management by Julia Lank and Audrey Herold. Featuring: Jennifer Pielak, Riley Qualtieri, Richard Meen, Aaron Lau, Morgan Churla, Matthew Simmons, Rebecca Piplica, Ryan Scramstad, Cecilia Rahoerason, Alison Chisholm, Lisa Penz, Amy Dauer, Chris Lam and Kathleen Munro
