The award-winning play which inspired the Netflix comedy is back by popular demand.
After critically-acclaimed runs at Park Theatre and Riverside Studios, the hit production Kim’s Convenience is packing up and heading on a UK tour. Taking charge as the new patriarchic figure of the family will be star of the CBC and Netflix adaptation James Yi.
Now a global smash hit, this hilarious and heartwarming drama about a family-run Korean store that inspired the Netflix phenomenon, is written by Ins Choi, who calls the play his ‘love letter to his parents and to all first-generation immigrants who now call Canada their home.’
Home is at 2 Tony Wilson Place Manchester M15 4FN, Manchester.
