Zombie Prom will receive its UK premiere at the Landor Theatre from October 20, 15 years after it was first produced in New York.

Casting includes Jackie Marks, who after three months in the original company of Les Miserables took over from Patti LuPone as Fantine, and recently returned to the show as Madame Thernadier. Jackie was also the original female Narrator in Joseph and his Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Joining Jackie is Simon Cole who recently appeared in Spider's Web for The Agatha Christie Theatre Company and Bill Kenwright, and as Greg in the World Premiere of the critically acclaimed Twisted at The Oval House.

They are joined by newcomers Sophie Issacs & Jonathan Vickers as Toffee and Jonny and Lucy Barker, last seen in the original UK cast of Spring Awakening, joins them as Ginger.

The ensemble features Darren John as Josh, Ben Baker and Jake, Ross Aldred as Joey, Katie Lowe as Coco and Tiffany Jones as Candy.

Set in the funky 1950s, Zombie Prom is a campy, rollicking romp through America's Atomic Age. The show tells the tale of sweet teenager Toffee (newcomer Issacs) and her rebellious outcast boyfriend, Jonny (newcomer Vickers). The pair meet at Enrico Fermi High School and fall in love, but fascist headmistress Miss Strict (Marks), intervenes, convincing Toffee to ditch the no-good Jonny. Driven half-mad by the betrayal, Jonny drives to a nearby nuclear power plant and flings himself into a cooling tower.

Tortured by guilt and loneliness Toffee mourns her lost love until one day Jonny returns, risen from the dead as a teenage nuclear zombie. Jonny's return to school sparks outrage, attracts the attention of sleazy newspaper reporter (Cole), and the threat of missing out on the prom!
