The Wyvern will present a brand-new season including Gareth Gates and Chico in Boogie Nights the Musical in Concert, Liza Goddard and Lysette Anthony in Agatha Christie's Go Back For Murder, Ray Quinn and Beverley Callard in The Rise and Fall of Little Voice, Hannah Waterman in Abigail's Party, Toyah Wilcox in Hormonal Housewives and Dancing On Ice's Keith Chegwin in Jack and the Beanstalk.
The Wyvern's Spring/Summer season is currently on sale to Friends. New productions will be available to book online from Saturday 23 February with telephone and in-person booking open from Monday 25 February.
"I am very excited to present the Spring and Summer season of theatre at the Wyvern," says Theatre Director Derek Aldridge.
"The productions are of a very high quality and feature treats for all ages. My children are really looking forward to the likes of James and the Giant Peach, Grandpa In My Pocket and Dora The Explorer. Meanwhile adults can enjoy drama, musicals, comedy, dance and live music aplenty," he continued.
"My personal favourites this season are Abigail's Party starring Hannah Waterman as it is a very classy production of a great play; and The Rise and Fall of Little Voice as it is a truly brilliant play with a wonderful cast."
In addition to a host of productions on the Wyvern Theatre's stage, the theatre also boasts a range of entertainment in the Wyvern Restaurant, complemented by a delectable food and drink offering. Faulty Towers Dining Experience will launch theatre-goers into the world of the BBC comedy series on Saturday 13 April in a 'two hour eat, drink and laugh sensation' (Daily Telegraph).
