Wolverhampton Musical Comedy Company (MUSCOM) will return to Wolverhampton Grand Theatre next year with a musical based on the hits of 'The King' himself, Elvis Presley.

ALL SHOOK UP from Tuesday 14 - Saturday 18 March is set in 1955 when a guitar-playing roustabout, Chad, rides into a square little town in a square little state - in a nearby dreary little town, Natalie, a young mechanic, is dreaming of love and adventure while she yearns for one true love to take her away...

The book for ALL SHOOK UP is by Joe DiPietro (Memphis The Musical) and has a story based on William Shakespeare's 1602 play Twelfth Night.

Liam Sargeant will play Chad. Liam is currently studying at the University of Oxford. His previous appearances with MUSCOM include Joe 'Jose' Vegas in Fame and Emmett Forest in Legally Blonde.

Following her acclaimed performance as Elle Woods in MUSCOM's 2015 production of Legally Blonde, Katie Astbury from Wolverhampton will play Natalie.

Jess Olford will play Lorraine, Michael Astley is Dean, Colette Forsyth is Sylvia, Chris Wolverson plays Jim, Zac Hollinshead plays Dennis, Kimberly Corsellis is Miss Sandra, JohAnn Davis is Mayor Matilda Hyde and Paul Murdock is Sheriff Earl.

The rest of the company is made up of talented local performers under the direction and choreography of Denise Robinson, Musical Direction is by James Maddison.

Established in 1938, Wolverhampton Musical Comedy Company is a young, vibrant and exciting theatre company full of local, home grown talent. Over the past decade, MUSCOM has performed award winning musicals on the Grand Theatre stage including Fame, Legally Blonde, Grease, Footloose, High School Musical Copacabana, West Side Story, Sweet Charity and Half A Sixpence.

Inspired by and featuring the songs of Elvis Presley this lip-curling, hip-swivelling musical comedy will have you rockin' out of your 'Blue Suede Shoes' and leave you 'All Shook Up' with the classic hits such as 'Heartbreak Hotel', 'Jailhouse Rock', 'Can't Help Falling in Love'.

Tickets for ALL SHOOK UP are now on sale and can be bought online at grandtheatre.co.uk, by calling 01902 42 92 12 or in person at the Box Office.
