Vogue Ball 2018 Reveals 'Toy Box Ball' Theme ImageIt's one of the most hotly anticipated announcements of the year - and now organisers of the hugely popular Vogue Ball can reveal the theme of the 2018 extravaganza.

House of Suarez, the creative team behind the event, are inviting fans to save the date of Saturday 20 October and urging them to come out and play - as this year's theme is The Toy Box Ball.

As ever expect fantastical costumes, outrageous performances and technical excellence in vogue dance, all drawing on the imagery and imagination of toys.

Not for the faint-hearted, the hugely hedonistic annual multi-award winning and highly distinguished Vogue Ball takes place at The Invisible Wind Factory, Liverpool. Tickets are on sale now.

This wildly creative celebration of elaborate style and alternative cultures will see both veteran and brand new local, regional and international Houses come together for the ultimate battle in vogue supremacy.

The night will be pulled together like a couture corset by the godmother of the ball, the one and only Rikki Beadle Blair, the master of ceremonies helping the crowds to Raise the Roof.

Vogue Ball partygoers can then continue the fun until the early hours at Liverpool is Burning, The Vogue Ball official after party which will commence straight after the main event. Based on the iconic vogue film Paris is Burning, this fierce club night is free for all Vogue Ball ticket holders.

Darren Suarez, Artistic Director of House of Suarez, said: "The Vogue Ball is back for 2018 - and now as part of the Three-Day Bender Vogue Festival, it promises to be bigger, better and even more outrageous. We're excited to announce this year's theme as The Toy Box Ball, and we're expecting the costumes to be just as outrageous and colourful as we know the Vogue routines will be. Join us on this new festival journey - it promises to be a memorable ride."

This year's Vogue Ball is part of House of Suarez's new Three-Day Bender Vogue Festival.

Festivalgoers can look forward to a full weekend of glamour from Friday 19 October to Sunday 21 October when film, fashion and fierce voguing all combine as the dance company present a fabulous programme of events at venues across Liverpool city centre.

Highlights include a fashion exhibition at the Museum of Liverpool and a new vogue documentary at FACT.

Tickets are on sale now for The Vogue Ball.
